After school/ Summer games
About the game
Our 1.5-2 hour sessions offer an enjoyable and educational experience through D&D gameplay. The campaign-style format encourages an ongoing story and character development, while policies are in place to accommodate those who cannot attend every session. By engaging in these games, students can relax, have fun, and acquire valuable life skills. The sessions are based on the simplified 5e rules initially introduced in the Intro to D&D for Kids class, gradually progressing towards the full ruleset. The ultimate goal is to provide a comprehensive gaming experience that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and camaraderie among the players.

Campaign
Students who have completed my Intro to D&D for Kids class have the opportunity to bring their characters from that experience into new sessions. It allows them to continue developing their characters and exploring the world we’ve created together. The familiarity with the streamlined Dungeons & Dragons 5e rules from the introductory class provides a solid foundation for the gameplay. As the group progresses, we will gradually introduce additional layers of complexity until we are playing with the full 5e ruleset, providing a natural progression for the players’ understanding of the game mechanics.
Once the group has mastered the 5e ruleset and feels comfortable with it, we can explore the possibility of venturing into other tabletop role-playing games if there is interest among the players. This can open up new worlds, mechanics, and storytelling experiences, broadening their horizons within the realm of tabletop gaming.
